1. May 23-31, 2020 –Chateaux of Loire Self Guided Cycling: The Loire Valley is synonymous with chateaux and they are as diverse as they are numerous with over 300 in total to explore. Embark on this eight-night holiday which takes you on a journey of discovery through some of the most prominent chateaux of this famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Don’t forget the amazing French Cuisine! This trip combines very well with the Bike/Barge in Provence on October 3, 2020.
2. May 2-9, 2020 – Cycling Puglia and Matera (Guided or Self Guided): Cycle from the UNESCO town of Matera through Italy’s heel to Lecce. In the deep south of Italy, nestled between the Adriatic and Ionian seas, lie the captivating regions of Puglia and Basilicata. This extensive itinerary explores the very best selection of all the cultural and natural treasures found here. This is a popular trip with club members either doing the guided or self guided trip – fantastic scenery and food! This trip can be done back to back with Wine Trails of Umbria … both trips are ebike friendly.
3. May 11-19, 2020 – Cycling the Wine Trails of Umbria Self Guided: The sun-drenched Umbrian countryside is an enchanting place to blend cycling with food, wine and cultural highlights. The riding is idyllic through olive groves, sunflower fields, vineyards and apricot orchards. Fabulous for scenic rides and amazing food! Ebike friendly.
4. Apr 24-May 1, 2020 – Cycling Albania Guided: Some say that visiting Albania is as close as you’ll get to travelling back in time. It wasn’t until the collapse of the People’s Socialist Republic of Albania in 1991 that the world got its first glimpse of the country within. Huge snow-capped mountains, inviting beaches, pretty rural villages, a genuine subsistence culture and an exceptionally friendly welcome is what you will find here. Ebike friendly.
We now have 32 members and friends booked on our Bike/Barge trip in Provence and Camargue! We only have 1 single male or female cabin left on this trip so please contact Sue if you are interested.
