Multi-Day Trips

EBTC offers multi-day cycling trips. It is a great way to enjoy a variety of landscapes and connect more deeply with your destination. It is a time to enjoy the scenery, the company of other cycling enthusiasts, and to take great pictures.

Multi-day trips are offered on a cost recovery basis and participant numbers are limited. These trips involve anywhere between 60 to 120km of riding a day on routes that may include some intense climbing that may be best suited to experienced riders. Trip organizers may screen riders to ensure that the group can cycle at a similar pace and demonstrate an appropriate endurance level. If a support vehicle is with the group, you will be expected to ride at a certain pace and to not deviate from the schedule.

Trip accommodations may vary from hotels to hostels to camping! Trip organizers will provide you with a list of required equipment and other important information. Training is critical for such a trip. If you are new to cycling, preparing for a multi-day tour means knowing what to expect and to be ready to handle some last minute/unexpected adjustments. The better fitness level you are in before the trip, the more you will enjoy your adventure and the less likely you’ll sustain an injury and/or saddle sores.
